Do you love what you do? Do you love who you are? Do you love those around you? Every moment is an important opportunity to discover what a wonderful thing God’s love is. God gives us something very special when we give someone else our thoughtful, loving attention. A print vendor and an accountant often work with the Eckankar Spiritual Center. Each has commented that the ECKists they work with always seem so happy. What’s the secret? they wondered. You’ll find out in this talk. A very touching story tells of how God’s wonderful love manifested between a farmer and his cows. This farmer and his wife love their herd, calling each cow by name and treating them like their own children. One day the farmer was rushing across a field on his tractor to attend to a cow giving birth. A neighbor’s bull attacked the farmer and would have killed him. But the herd surrounded him in a tight circle. Some of the cows even lost their lives protecting their friend. Another ECKist, Selena, felt compelled to help a neighbor’s arthritic dog, Cassius. You won’t believe the remarkable chain of events that occurs to help her accomplish this act of love. And Amy never thought she had dreams before she joined Eckankar. Then, after she became a member, she began to have dreams of events in previous lives. They brought a dramatic change in perspective to her life. As a child, Danielle dreamed about a little Indian boy. Can you imagine how she felt when she actually meets that person as a grown-up?
